How To Make Puffy Paint
Making puffy paint is so simple, it’s only three simple ingredients that you probably already have in your home.
Puffy paint only takes three ingredients to make and is lots of fun to paint with. This craft kept my very active son busy for 45 minutes!
We were having so much fun, that my husband even joined in and painted with us!
Now Let’s Craft!
For this DIY Puffy Paint craft, you’ll need some shaving cream, liquid glue and food coloring. As well as some paper and paint brushes.
I recommend using a thick card stock paper or putting down newspaper under your regular paper. This craft can get messy.
STEPS ONE, TWO & THREE
I use paper plates to hold each of the puffy paints.
In the center of the plate, squeeze some glue. About 1/2 cup.
Around the outside of the plate (and glue) add the saving cream.
Lastly add in your desired color of food coloring. Before mixing all three ingredients together.
Once all your colors are mixed together, let your kiddo create!
This paint is spreadable just like regular paint.
BUT
To get the 3D effect dot your paint on the paper.
This craft will keep your child busy and entertained.
It’s also a great craft to do for a special occasion or holiday.
When your kiddo has used up all of the puffy paint and you let the artwork dry, the paint drys in a soft puffy texture.
I hope you and your child enjoyed this puffy paint craft! We certainly did!
